It’s hard to abolish negativity however we must do our best to control it. A big contributor to the feeling or atmosphere of negativity is the news reports. When you watch or read the news estimates are as high as 90% of what get’s reported is negative. The next virus, scandals, violent weather, natural disasters, accidents, crimes and generally what “went wrong” today.
If we’re constantly bombarded with the news, it will pull down our attitude and energy. Now, I am not advocating totally avoiding the news reports and being uninformed about what is going on in our world. I am advocating managing and compartmentalizing your day and time…on when you check the news and how you check the news. I have specific times when I check on the news and the specific sites I check. Keeping control and managing the news is critical for to comeback.
