No… I do not want to sound like your parent…but as your friend, I remember one year I did 190 training sessions all over the U.S. and I was training for multiple marathons. There is no way I could have kept up that kind of a schedule without getting my proper amount sleep. For me, that is 7 hours per night. I know all of you listening are working hard and some may be trying to “burn the candle” at both ends sacrificing your sleep. 

Long term, you cannot keep up such a pace and expect to be healthy and productive. Now, we have those crazy weeks once in a while. I understand…I remember my days in the restaurant world. But establish that consistent time you are going to get to bed. When your “body clock” is into a consistent routine with sleep, you will actually sleep better and wake up more refreshed….ready to make the comeback!
