Gratitude – What Are You Thankful For?


Many psychologists agree the healthiest of all human emotions is gratitude! Do you intentionally take time to think of things you are thankful for? Forbes magazine had an article called “7 Scientifically proven benefits of gratitude.” Here they are:

1)Gratitude opens the door to more relationships, 2)Gratitude improves physical health, 3)Gratitude improves psychological health 4)Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression, 5)Gratitude leads to sleeping better 6) Gratitude improves self-esteem, and 7)Gratitude increases mental strength. In the midst of our challenging times I am going to challenge you to think of 5 things your thankful as you start your day and as you end your day.  What are you thankful for?


Pete has a rotation of 60 inspirational  “Second Wind Radio –  Spirit of the Comeback” messages. Mike Gilland (The Shepherd Radio – Radio Station Operations Manager) has graciously given Pete the opportunity to record these messages at THE SHEPHERD RADIO. These messages now air on the radio and the segments are called “FOR THE WIN!” The messages will broadcast on the following “The Shepherd Network” radio stations:

Ocala/The Villages – 720 AM  and 103.5 FM

Gainesville – 1430 AM and 96.3 FM
