Many years ago a mentor I had would always ask me “Pete, what are you reading this week? Are you taking time to read and feed your mind…everyday?” He would emphasize that “Leaders are Readers!” They are about constant growth and improvement in their lives. Tony Robbins claims to have read over 10,000 books! I know…it can be easy to become so busy with life and say, “Who’s got time to read a book?” Let me encourage you to take 10-15 minutes a day to read something that is motivational, inspirational, that will build your skills or help you learn something new. The late Zig Ziglar would always say: “Feed Your Mind with the good, the clean, the pure and the powerful!” So I will ask you: What are you reading this week? Leaders are Readers!
