The Chinese Bamboo Tree

LISTEN:

The Chinese Bamboo tree is grown in East Asia. What the growers of the Chinese Bamboo Tree will do is carefully plant the seeds in the ground and then they will water and fertilize the area where those seeds are. After the first year of watering and fertilizing, no tree is coming out of the ground. After the 2nd year still no bamboo tree. 3rd year, still no bamboo tree. 4th year still no bamboo tree. They continue to water and fertilize. At some point in year 5, a tree starts to come through the ground. Once the tree breaks through the ground that tree over the next  6 weeks can grow to 90 feet tall. So how long did it take to grow 90 feet…6 weeks or 5 years?  5 years…because those that grow the bamboo tree know that if they stop watering and fertilizing, that tree will die in the ground. Don’t give up! Don’t let what your working on die in the ground. Stay with it, cause that is the Spirit of the comeback.
